    Kijuju is a region in West Africa, with a native language of Swahili. In late 2008, the Tricell Pharmaceutical Company began their plans in the region, slowly releasing a form of Las Plagas "The Plague" throughout the area. By early 2009, the increasing xenophobia ("A fear of foreigners or strangers") and active racism against non-natives spread the plagas quickly through those willing to spread it and those forced to be impregnated with it. The military was sent in to stop any further spread by having a large wall built around the destabilised zone, cutting through a large portion of the region. The B.S.A.A., under command of Chris Redfield, was sent in to investigate.

    @Fady117 : In fairness, they arn't zombies per se. Similar looking, but they are the result of genetic modification, not simply people that have died but hell was too full.

    I'd have to agree with NovakainePuNK, I had to chose 360 because it was out (it took them 'bout 6 months to get Ps3 out on my country after it was launched in the US) and because it was the cheapest (You could buy a premium 360 for what a Wii costed over here) but in a couple of hours i'll be picking up my PS3, and I'm very happy and exited, because both combined, are the best entertaining experience money can buy...

    whoa wait a sec now the're casting Chris and Sheva?!?!?!? oh wow cant wait for the movie...... and oh wtf that biker seemed like Ghost Rider himself lol the makers just dont get it, no zombie ever "alive" would be "smart" enough to ride & jump with a bike...... now thats more like vampires, werewolves, dark wizards or mercs if u want liked the whole real filming tho, i wonder where they got that guy for Chris and that girl for Sheva......or is the modeling based on them????

    That's because people with "respect" to only one console ARE fanboys, you idiot. What's so hard about realizing that both consoles have their good points, and their own great games? The only reason you chose one console was because you HAD to, and don't try saying otherwise... I know it's true for me. Who wouldn't want both? (Once again, don't bother saying you wouldn't... it's not true.)

    westisere: Console war is your own opinion, and if you think there is no remote difference as to getting consoles, by all means please waste your money trashing and buying new consoles till you are broke enough to have to live in the streets destitute, because you thought there wasn't any difference. Also because you're calling the people with a single respect to a console fanboys. Anyways, the trailer looked alright, I wonder what the scribbly design meant. Probably just a doodling insanity caused by killer zombies in Africa. happens all the time to me in class, one thing I'm concetrating on writing a paper next African Zombies, then I'm writing insane doodles all over my paper. It's a tragic doodle syndrome that I'm sure we've all experienced at one time or another. Like the artist that designed the box art for the collector's edition. Doodle syndrome. I looked at the bonus items, and they are really not worth it imo, the designs aren't really good, the patch the bag and the figurine I can all do without the only thing I like about it is the case.

    I'm sure the game itself will be awsome, as to why I'm only getting the game. I hope everyone else will enjoy it as much as I will.

    I remember people argueing about the n64 behing much better than ps1, all it is, is those little kids who like to make out they have got something much better than you, the "mines better than yours people". I'v got a ps3 but my mates got a 360 and i think there both wicked, I wouldn't have any qualms if my ps3 broke, going to the shop and buying an xbox 360, infact a part of me wants one cos its more user friendly talking to your mates online. So kids in my eyes i dont think anyone has anything to BOAST about having a ps3 over a xbox 360, Sorry.

    naa who cares about graphics really as long as the awesome Re5 game is a cool terrifying larger non stopping game that has u on the edge of ur sit killing more las plagas jajaja and having a cool partner on ur game and its Resident EEEEEEEEEEVIL damn who cares about anything else really just enjoy we better be cool that capcom didnt make any JUST FOR PC games thats a thing i really hate now so who cares jus tplay the game and enhoy this new instalment

    Coming from an owner of both PS3 and XBOX 360, I really hate those fanboys saying PS3's graphics are better than XBOX 360 when the game isn't even out yet! Sure MGS4 and Little Big Planet might look impressive so what, those games are designed for PS3 and don't mean XBOX 360 can't do the same. Ignorant fanboys! Ask Capcom and other game developers see which systems generate more profit for them.

    It has already proven based on Devil May Cry 4 and many other games that XBOX 360 is surely has higher texture resolution 1080P vs PS3 only at 720P. I have tested both versions side by side and I know the differences clearly. Nothing can denied the reproducible experimental data. The recent CAPCOM games are developed based on Windows Platform. I won't expect RE5 in PS3 be even reaching 1080P at all.

    At the end, you have to treat PC, PS3, and XBOX 360 as gaming computers. Whoever willing to spend more money gets the best results. That's it. PS3 is newer and after two years since launch, not reaching 1080P for most of the games is very disappointing. I guess developers just don't want to spend that much time and money to fully utilize the PS3's hardware and lets just wait and see how PS3 can improve this following year.

    Have you not looked at the graphics comparison they did on this very site? It's quite clear that at the moment the PS3 is behind graphically. Obviously this may change, but you have no way of knowing, just blurting out your PS3 fanboyism.

    Edit - Sorry I'm not sure it was on this site, but try googling it if you haven't seen it.

    Already pre-ordered the game, and strangely it's £5 less than Silent Hill which is out 2 weeks before. Wont be getting that until it either gets amazing reviews, or drops in price quickly.

    i am pretty sure that any difference between the 360 and ps3 if insignificant. it's getting annoying to constantly hear each and every day, people arguing over which is better. i don't give a s*** about which system has better graphics, hell i would play re 5 even if it still looked like re 4. i have an xbox but i don't hate the ps3, i just don't like sony as a company because to me, they seem cocky about their products which are great in my opinion. as long as re 5 kicks ass on both systems, i could care less about which one looks better

    My only problem with Resi 5 is it just looks like they updated models and environment from Resi 4 and thats it and to bring in some AI buddy. Even having chainsaw guy back and some axe dude.

    I will enjoy playing it but it doesn't have the same flare i had for Resi 4 but then again i only played the demo and the levels were pretty boring.

    PS3 Graphics are better for this game? We'll see, but I doubt it. Everygame that has come out cross platform has consistantly been better on the 360. I have both, so I'm not just a fanboy talking. Don't forget that even though the PS3 has better hardware, it's harder to code for than a 360 (takes more time that developers don't have much of). I've rented the same game for both systems, sorry to say but I'd be pretty upset about my PS3 purchase if it wasn't for the blue ray player.
